Use your mark-making techniques on clay and learn the secrets of combining your drawing and sculpturing skills to make bas relief sculpture (aka low relief). Each student is asked to provide source imagery for sculpturing for example; a photo of a family dog or an interesting magazine clip of a garden.  Within the class structure, we will look at and discuss some famous bass relief works. No previous sculpture experience is required, but some drawing proficiency is recommended. This class includes 25lbs of low-fire clay and one firing.
